Recently, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) announced the appointment of Puneet Sarin as the global president of BD Bioscience, which took effect on the same day.

In his new role, Puneet will be responsible for driving BD Biosciences' global strategy, operations and business performance while promoting channel innovation, employee engagement and customer experience.

“Puneet Sarin is a leader in life sciences and clinical in vitro diagnostics industry with more than 20 years of experience,” said Patrick Kaltenbach, executive vice president of life science at BD. “He has been successful in developing high performance teams, growing business and driving innovation. This has made him an ideal leader in BD Biosciences business. We are very happy that he can join us."

Prior to joining BD, Puneet worked for six years at Beckman Coulter, where he served as senior vice President and general manager of the Beckman Coulter biochemistry and immunology business.

Prior to joining Beckman Coulter, Puneet worked at GE where he was the leader and head of the industrial, energy and healthcare sectors.
