Transportation Options

 

Air Travel

As one of China's most vibrant cities, Hangzhou is easily accessible by air. Most international attendees will arrive via Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH), a major hub for international flights.

 

Getting to the Venue

A. By Taxi: A taxi ride takes approx. 20 mins, and the fare is around CNY 45.

It’s advisable to have the address in Chinese： 【杭州大会展中心】.

 

B. By Metro: Take Line 1 to Gangcheng Avenue Station and use Exits B/D to reach the East Registration Hall, or take Line 1 to Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center Station and use Exits A/D for the Central Registration Hall. The journey takes approx. 30 mins and costs CNY 3.

 

High-speed Train

Hangzhou is well-connected by China's extensive high-speed rail network, with frequent services from major cities, especially from Shanghai, which take as little as 40 mins and costs a minimum of CNY 48.

 

Visitors may arrive by high-speed train at the Hangzhou Station, Hangzhou South Station, Hangzhou West Station and Hangzhou East Station.

 

From Hangzhou Station

A. By Taxi: A taxi ride takes approx. 50 mins, and the fare is around CNY 100.

 

B. By Metro: Take Line 1 to Gangcheng Avenue Station or Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center Station. Approx. 1 hr. CNY 7.

 

From Hangzhou South Station

A. By Taxi: A taxi ride takes approx. 30 mins, and the fare is around CNY 70.

 

B．By Bus: Take Route 727 to 荣达羽绒公司 Stop and then transfer via Route 783 to 龙湖村 Stop. Approx. 1 hr 40 mins. CNY 4.

 

From Hangzhou East Station

A. By Taxi: A taxi ride takes approx. 35 mins, and the fare is around CNY 90.

 

B. By Metro: Take Line 1 to Gangcheng Avenue Station or Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center Station. Approx. 1 hr. CNY 6.

 

Private Car 

If you've arranged for a private car, enter the underground car park via Passage 2 on South Exhibition Road or Passage 5 on North Exhibition Road.

 

Ride-Hailing App

Popular ride-hailing apps such as Didi operates in China. Download the app and set up an account before your arrival. These apps allow you to request a ride conveniently and provide you with an estimated fare.

- Language: The public transport system is user-friendly with English signs and announcements, but having a translation app is handy.

 

- Transportation: Information above is subject to traffic conditions, and fares may vary. It is advisable to plan your journey in advance and consider using navigation apps, such as Baidu Map, Gaode Map for real-time updates. 

 

- Currency: The local currency is the Chinese Yuan (¥). Credit cards may not be widely accepted by taxis and at some local shops. It’s highly recommended to carry cash and download Alipay/WeChat Pay for convenient payments.
