Host: What is Leadman’s main business at present?

Mr.Shen Guangqian: Leadman’s main business includes diagnostic reagent, equipment and biological chemical material.Leadman’s diagnostic reagents business includes biochemical diagnostic reagent, chemiluminescence reagent and molecular diagnostic reagent, etc. By now Leadman has obtained 117 CFDA registration certificates of biochemical diagnostic reagent and become one of the biochemical diagnostic reagent manufacturers with the most complete variety of products in China.

Recently Leadman acquired DiaSys products and DiaSys system which are also engaged in biochemical business. Till now, the biochemical products’ registration certificates of Leadman have exceeded 170 and Leadman is now the most complete and advanced company in China.

Secondly, Leadman has now acquired 31 CFDA registration certificates of chemiluminescence reagent which are related to 9 projects include tumor marker, thyroid function and sex hormones. In cooperation with IDS, a British company, Leadman can provide more additional testing, such as bone metabolism and calcium metabolism.Now leadman are prepare for CFDA registration of molecular diagnostic reagent.

Leadman’s equipment business includes their independent developed products, such as CI1000 fully automatic chemiluminescence analyzer, biochemical analyzer and automatic coagulometer. Since the launch from last July, the chemiluminescence analyzers and related reagents are well evaluated as being very stable and accurate. Our customers obtained the very good results after comparing CI1000 analyzer with the test systems of Roch and Beckman.

We’ve also got DiaSys’s POCT testing system and automatic biochemical analyzer. Leadman’s regents and IDS instrument work together that can carry out both biochemical testing and chemiluminescence testing. Leadman established individual joint ventures with Enigma and will carry out commercial operation of ML system in China. The ML system is a molecular diagnostic and POCT device.

Besides, we also carry out the business of biological chemical material. As a diagnostic regent product company, Leadman is one of the few companies that master enzyme diagnosis, antigen and antibody preparation technology. Leadman has set up 3 research projects to do raw material research including enzyme Diagnosis, antigen/ antibody and chemicals.
Host: Recently Leadman and British company Enigma set up a joint venture, formally enter the field of molecular diagnostics, how is the product characteristics and prospect?

Mr.Shen Guangqian: Enigma is a British company. The ML system is a highly integrated testing system which mixes the sample preparation, PCR testing, data processing analysis and transmission for molecular diagnostics sample. Fast, accurate, simple and connectable are the 4 features of this product. It’s a perfect combination of POCT application and molecular diagnostics and a lot of genetic testing projects can be extended on this platform.

The application field is very broad; the main areas including CDC, teaching organization, hospital laboratories, and food processing enterprise. The same time Leadman is working on CFDA registration, we are also promote our product in scientific research field, in order to achieve sales and profit quickly.
Host: By purchasing DiaSys products and system, Leadman is walking outside. What’s your plan of the cooperation with DiaSys？

Mr.Shen Guangqian: Company has just completed to acquire 70% equity of DiaSys products and DiaSys system. In order to promote the collectivize management level of both Leadman and DiaSys, effectively integrate the existing resources, we set up a unified management committee on the basis of maintain the company's existing organizational structure, operational management mechanism. We determine the development strategy of collectivization, coordinate the integration of various resources, set up business planning including develop the overall marketing, financial management, operations and human resources, in order to establish a harmonious and unified management mechanism.

1. The integration of product research and development. The Leadman has an excellent independent research and development team, research and development covers four aspects including biochemical reagent, immunological reagents, IVD instrument, and biological chemical raw materials. DiaSys China also has strong product development ability, the DiaSys German has strong forward-looking and technical ability on new product development, all of these guarantee the strong support to the R&D team on both sides. We will give full play to the advantages of both two R&D team and DiaSys Germany support of advanced research and development ability, through the comprehensive cooperation in project establishment, control of research process, transformation of product, product registration, in order to improveefficiency and develop the rapid growing of company’s business.

2. The integration of production. DiaSys China has advanced standardized production processes and advanced technology, Leadman has the most advanced assembly in the industry. The assembly line includes automatic configuration system, four automatic packing lines which can be run at the same time, on-line labeling system, on-line detection system, automatic assembly kit configuration system, outer packaging system. Company will have two production base, in order to allocate production capacity according to the market needs, improve efficiency, coordinate, have complementary advantages, achieve the maximum benefit in such aspects as planning, production and personal efficiency.

3. The integration of the market. Company unified coordination on both sides of the market, further share the dealer channels on both sides, import respective advantages products, expand the overall market share and sales volume, and quickly promote the market share on both sides.

4. The integration of customer resources. Through the close communication in customer relationship maintenance and expansion, propaganda and communication, business planning and implementation, form a unified customer management system, set up the cooperation mode of customer resources sharing, actively recommend to the customer together on both sides of the products and services, in order to meet customer demand.

5. The integration of the supply chain. In the increasingly stringent regulatory environment, IVD industry improves all aspect to the requirement in the timeliness of supply chain, quality control of transportation, transportation compliance. The manufacturers will increase operating costs substantially to meet the above requirements. Through the integration of two raw materials purchasing and supply center in Beijing and Shanghai, company will provide consistent in suppliers, inventory control, Logistics and supply cost control; provide reliable guarantee in supply of raw materials, shortening delivery time, providing a large number of products, improving customer satisfaction, and etc.
Host: From the news report of voice of China on May 12, from now on, CDFA will focus on IVD reagent industry to ensure the whole process of cold chain of products going from factory to hospital. At the end of last year Leadman start to work together with Sinopharm for strategic cooperation. It can be said to be one step ahead, what is the original idea？

Mr.Shen Guangqian: As a special medical device product, the quality of IVD reagent product is directly related to the accuracy of clinical diagnosis. In order to ensure the quality of the product, we must develop a formal quality control standard of diagnostic reagent and comprehensive quality management system, and strictly implemented. The whole temperature control is the strong guarantee involved in IVD product performance.

From the beginning of Leadman establishment, we have regarded product quality as enterprise life. Leadman together with Sinopharm established strategic cooperative relations at the end of last year; main concern is their significant advantage in cold chain transportation and entire distribution. This will guarantee no effect of Leadman reagent product quality in the course of transportation. Leadman can carry on real-time monitoring in the product storage and transportation, especially under more national new strict regulations on the supervision and administration of medical device. At the same time, Leadman can cover empty area, making use of the terminal advantage of Sinopharm.
