Forum of Beijing-Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Cooperation is co-presided over by Beijing Institute of Medical Device Testing and Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Center, Which conducted communication as far as the enhancement of regional cooperation of medical device administration and the establishment of long-term effective mechanism, as well as the official initiation of Beijing-Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Cooperation. Hu Xiaoping, head of Shanxi Food and Drug Administration and Lu Aili, deputy director of Beijing Food and Drug Administration presented this forum.
　　
  During the meeting, ‘Strategic Cooperation Protocol of Beijing-Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Cooperation’ (thereinafter briefly as Protocol) was signed with Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Center, by which the strategic cooperation partnership is established. Based on Protocol, in-depth cooperation is built involved in many aspects, varied from the administration and testament of medical devices，draft and revision of standard, construction and regulation of the laboratory, talent pool cultivation, to scientific research collaboration, in a bid to realize the  advantageous complementarities and resource sharing between Beijing and Shanxi medical devices laboratory, function well in technical support, guarantee, and service from the institution of medical devices laboratory, and push forward the coordinating development of the observation and administration of the medical devices in Beijing and Shanxi. In the course of cooperation, the two sides are also due to have a technical communication in the files of electromagnetic compatibility and In Vitro Diagnostics. To give full pay of Beijing’s advantageous laboratory technology, The Beijing Institute of Medical Device Testing will have a liaison department in Shanxi headquarter to work jointly to provide business consultancy and technical service for a wide range of enterprise dedicated to medical devices production in Western China, to facilitate the rapid development of western medical devices industry. After the seminar, the attendants visited professional laboratory affiliated to Shanxi Medical Devices Testing Center.
