After months of hard work, the ‘PrecisionFDA’ project proposed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in August 5 this year, was announced to be open for use in December 15.Users can log in through https://precision.fda.gov to have access to it.
The ‘PrecisionFDA’ is a genomic information community and shared data platform for researchers and provide a basis for the next generation of sequencing. Also it provides developers a unified and shared online database.The move aims to promote the standardization of the second generation sequencing data analysis process and improve its accuracy.
‘PrecisionFDA’ is proposed by FDA and undertaken by DNAnexus. It allows the academic and industrial community to upload sequencing data, run and compare different software.
