AWSensors recently announced that it has cooperated and developed a new liquid biopsy technique for early diagnosis of colorectal cancer with European LIQBIOPSENS team. This system can make it easier to conduct cancer diagnosis, and monitor at the same time. Compared with current diagnostic technology, it will save about two-thirds of the cost.

This highly sensitive molecular diagnostic system that developed by the Spain-based company, AWSensors, can be used for cancer screening, which is based on liquid biopsy technique that can analyze small liquid sample of blood or saliva, enabling completely non-invasive diagnosis of cancer, and this technique can get test results within one hour. When combined with genome analysis, it is possible to obtain reliable diagnostic results, and provide help for the future development of accurate cancer chemotherapy .

This new diagnostic system will work with the quartz micro-sensor technology developed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The quartz micro-sensor technology can provide real-time analysis, and this combination can reliably perform the detection of DNA mutation. The new inspection system will be used for testing the blood samples of patients with colorectal cancer in the next three years.
