Laboratory Corporation of America on Thursday said it has entered into a comprehensive strategic collaboration with Florida's Naples Comprehensive Healthcare (NCH).

Under the terms of the agreement, Labcorp will manage daily operations of NCH's inpatient lab operations and will begin later this summer to serve as the primary lab for NCH's physician network.

Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"Labcorp is focused on delivering high-quality, cost-effective laboratory testing to health systems, physicians, patients, health plans, and the communities we serve," Lenny Monsour, senior VP of Labcorp’s Southeast division, said in a statement. "We look forward to continuing to work with NCH to realize our shared mission to improve health outcomes for the people of Southwest Florida."
