Tute Genomics has acquired the assets of Knome for an undisclosed amount.

Under the terms of the purchase agreement, Tute is integrating Knome's KnoSys technology with its cloud-based genome informatics and clinical reporting platform. The KnoSys platform bundles Knome's genome interpretation software with hardware to provide an all-in-one in-house informatics solution for labs that prefer to analyze their data locally.The addition to Tute's portfolio will further bolster its ability to deliver a comprehensive, flexible, scalable, and secure informatics solution for genome-guided medicine, the company said.
