TinkerBio completed a Series A+ financing round of tens of millions of RMB, exclusively invested by Panlin Capital.

The funds will be used for the construction of the microfluidic chip manufacturing base in Hangzhou, accelerating the expansion of TinkerBio's CDMO business in the global market, as well as the development of new technologies and processes and capacity expansion.

In recent years, microfluidic technology has been fully validated in foreign markets, and a number of products have been successfully commercialized.

In China, the application of microfluidics on the product side has just started and has great potential for development. Under the background of national policy support and strategic upgrading of traditional IVD companies, the Chinese microfluidics industry is developing at a high growth rate of 27%.

Based on the founder Dr. Jiaming Ye's nearly 20 years of experience in industry, academia and research, TinkerBio has built up a first-class domestic microfluidic technology platform from theory to chip design, processing to mass production. The company has well grasped the market demand and quickly entered the field of microfluidic CDMO with its technological advantage of D-side (R&D and design side), which can deliver products quickly according to the individual needs of customers in different fields and greatly save the product development cost for customers.

At present, the company has provided microfluidic chip CDMO services to hundreds of leading IVD and biopharmaceutical companies/listed companies at home and abroad, and its R&D revenue ranks first in the industry, and its commercialization conversion capability has been initially verified.

TinkerBio now has a Hangzhou headquarter/R&D center and two production bases in Hangzhou and Jiaxing and has passed IS013485 "Design, Development, Production and Sales of Microfluidic Chips for In Vitro Diagnostics" system certification, with the ability to transform the whole process from design, development to mass production of microfluidic chips made of PMMA, PC, COC, PS, PP, PDMS, glass, etc.
