French diagnostics maker BioM¨¦rieux said on Tuesday that it has received CE marking for its Vidas Kube automated immunoassay system.
The Vidas Kube is a stackable, modular benchtop instrument that runs BioM¨¦rieux's line of Vidas tests for emergency and critical care, immunochemistry, infectious diseases, and food industry pathogens.
BioM¨¦rieux said it expects to launch the Vidas Kube in select countries in early 2023, with a wider rollout beginning in the second quarter of that year. It added that the system is expected to eventually replace its Mini Vidas and Vidas instruments.
