According to reports, the price of 63 medical services that have been carried out by public medical institutions has been standardized and adjusted, including 53 assisted reproductive technology such as in vitro fertilization embryo culture. 63 medical services basically cover the commonly used technologies for assisted reproduction in public medical institutions in Beijing.

Among them, 16 mature assisted reproductive technologies that are necessary for diagnosis and treatment, such as intrauterine insemination, embryo transfer, optimal sperm management, are included in the scope of medical insurance Category A reimbursement.

Ping An Securities believes that in the future, assisted reproductive programs are expected to be included in medical insurance payments in more regions. At present, China assisted reproductive drug market is still dominated by imports. If the drug market conducts centralized procurement in the future, it is expected to promote the restructuring of the market competition pattern, thereby bringing opportunities for domestic pharmaceutical companies.
